Leading Edge's biggest asset is their people - for them it's about combining a talented team with the latest technology to drive real growth. The Leading Edge team had everything covered: job board advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. However, getting in front of and securing those sales superstars was another story.
The only part they needed a hand with? Additional search.
HainesAttract were enlisted to undertake three separate rounds of search across six months. We were tasked with finding Sales Consultants and Team Leaders for a modern company. For Leading Edge, it wasn't about education, experience, or knowledge… it was about personality, passion, and ambition. This meant that typical search functions (such as job title and tertiary qualifications) were less relevant when one of our Candidate Managers dived into the project.
To aid in the search, we facilitated advertising on social media channels such as Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as connecting Leading Edge with HainesAttract partner, Podium, who help high performance athletes champion the job market (competitive sales + competitive athletes = the perfect match).
Through the likes of LinkedIn, we reached out to hundreds of talented Kiwis and presented over 25 interested candidates. From there, they took back over and completed phone screens, interviews, and made the all-important offer. We're proud to say that even given the challenging market, 6 candidates were hired.
