CHALLENGE

The Ministry of Transport had 10+ roles upcoming within the Policy Advisor and Strategic Adviser space in both the Wellington and Auckland market. These roles spanned from Graduate right through to Senior level. To cut through the competitive public policy space, they knew they’d need to do something fresh and unconventional to showcase their brand outside of the normal day to day advert posting. They knew their target audience would know what the roles entailed but were worried they would get lost in the competition for talent.

SOLUTION

Working in partnership with a very knowledgeable client, we unearthed the points of difference the Ministry could offer candidates and combined that with our media and targeting expertise. The result? A tailored campaign fit for budget and scope was sent out to the market. Over the course of the campaign over 700 applications were received and the positions were successfully filled.
